Dr. Marina Scott joined District 128 as associate superintendent in 2008, and became Libertyville High School principal in July of 2009. She has more than 26 years of educational experience, having worked as a teacher and assistant principal in Township High School District 211 before assuming the principalship at William Fremd High School in Palatine in 2003. Dr. Scott has been recognized for her significant contributions to public education in Illinois as a recipient of the Illinois State Board of Education's 2007 "Those Who Excel" education award in the administrator category. She also is an adjunct professor in the Loyola University, Chicago School of Education.
Dr. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from Illinois State University, a Master of Science in Textiles and Fashion Design from Northern Illinois University, and a Master of Science in Administration also from Northern. She received her Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Loyola University, Chicago.
Ray Albin
Assistant Principal

As assistant principal for curriculum and instruction, Ray’s responsibilities include the coordination of all programs and services related to curriculum and instruction, the coordination of student and parent programs, and the evaluation of teachers. In particular, he is the LHS coordinator for the Prairie State Achievement Exams (PSAE), Program Assisting With Success (PAWS), technology and our Advanced Placement program.
Ray completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University with a major in biology. In 1999, he accepted a position teaching Life Science and Biology at Libertyville High School. While teaching science and coaching football, wrestling and track for District 128, he completed a graduate degree in Educational Administration from Loyola University. In 2006, Ray became the LHS School Improvement Coordinator. He continued in this role until he assumed the assistant principal responsibilities in 2011.

Eric Maroscher

As Assistant Principal, Eric's primary responsibilities include: Day to day operations of the building, teacher supervision assignments, building utilization, teacher evaluation, Ombudsman coordinator, bus liaison, as well as serving as LHS' Non-Discrimination Compliance Officer. Eric develops/maintains the student and parent handbooks and the school calendar. He also coordinates the Crisis Team and Emergency Response Teams and the school's bus evacuation, fire, severe weather, disaster and threat drills.
Eric received his B.A. degree and M.A. in Educational Psychology from Eastern Illinois University. Additionally, he holds a M.S. in Educational Administration from Governors' State University.
Eric began his educational career as a guidance counselor at Crete-Monee High School. Also while at Crete-Monee, he worked as a dean of students then assistant principal. Prior to joining LHS, Eric was an assistant principal at Rich East High School.
He is a member of the Illinois State Deans Association, and the Illinois Principal Association, and has presented at the Illinois State Board of Education as well as throughout the south suburbs on gang identification.
Eric's educational recognition includes the Jaycees Outstanding Educator Award for his work in Pupil Personnel Service, and an Administrative Honorarium for his work in educational collaboration and Shared Leadership.
Eric's time away from LHS is spent in the weight-room. He is a competitive powerlifter and as a member of the American Powerlifting Federation and World Powerlifting Congress, Eric is a two-time world, two-time national, North American, and multi-time Illinois State Powerlifting Champion. Additionally, Eric holds powerlifting records at the state, national and world level in his weight class.

Ole Stevens
Director of Student Services

As director of student services, Ole's primary responsibilities include supervision of the guidance counselors, social workers, the College Resource Center (CRC), the nurse and the Student Assistance Program (SAP). Ole is also in charge of data management coordination, which includes developing the master schedule, student records, and student registration.
Ole received his B.S. degree in Social Science from Eastern Illinois University, a Master's in Secondary Counseling and a Type 75 Certificate in Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University.
Ole began his career at Gurnee School District 56 where he taught 6th grade Social Studies for six years and coached 8th grade boys' basketball and track. After a year as the counselor/dean at Viking Junior High in Gurnee, he was hired as a guidance counselor at Libertyville High School in 1998. Ole served LHS as a guidance counselor for six years before being appointed to the position of the college/career counselor where he managed the CRC for four years. He became director of student services in 2008.
Ole and his family live in Libertyville, where he enjoys working on his house and attending his boys' sporting events and activities.
