Head Coach: Andy Bitta
Andy Bitta began the Libertyville High School boys soccer program in 1978 and the girls soccer program in 1981. He was the Head Varsity Coach up until the 1998/99 season. He was also the Boys Varsity Basketball Assistant Coach from 1979-1999. Throughout his tenure as Varsity Coach for boys and girls soccer, his teams won countless conference and regional championships, numerous sectional championships and a 1991 Girls Soccer State Championship. He was then listed as one of the winningest active coaches in the state of Illinois for girls soccer. In 1991, Andy was also named Coach of the Year for Girls Soccer by the Illinois High School Coaches Association, and he received a National Top Twenty High School Soccer Team Award by the National Soccer Coaches Association. In 2001, he was inducted into the Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He resides in Green Oaks with his wife, Ann Marie, and two sons, Andrew and Austin.
