Art gallery becomes real (ity)
The evening of May 18th was a special one for Art teachers Ray Gossell and Julie Johnson, and the AP Art students as their works graced the walls and pedestals of Libertyville High School's new Art Gallery.
Special thanks to the District 128 School Board, the Libertyville Wildcat Fine Arts Foundation, LHS F.A.ST.- Fine Arts Support Team, The Great Frame-Up of Vernon Hills, and everyone else who made this dream come true.
2011 LISA Best of the BEST show
At the "Best of the Best" show Ellie Boquist won second place and a $500 scholarship in the 3D category for her hand made Metal Book.

Ally Muskat won first place in graphic design for her Monogram designed using Adobe Illustrator.
Our students competed against 27 other schools and more than 600 pieces of artwork from the city of Chicago and surrounding areas.

These six Best of Show winners will go on to the Best of the Best show at the Thompson Center in Chicago on Sunday, May 16th and their work will be on display the week previous, from the 9th through the 16th.
