The Libertyville Boys Cross Country team adopted a stretch of Highway 176 near downtown Libertyville a number of years ago and now makes the clean up an annual part of their fall season.  The Village of Libertyville provides safety vests, gloves, and garbage bags, and the team provides the labor.  This year the 110-member team incorporated the clean up into one of their workouts.  "You wouldn't think that picking up garbage could be fun, but it was," said senior Thomas Grunert.
