Test Registration
(LHS CEEB School Code 142-620)

Explore- All 8th grade students who attend LHS feeder schools (Highland, Oak Grove and Rondout) are automatically registered to take this exam. Eighth graders who reside within LHS attendance boundaries and attend private schools will also have an opporunity to take the Explore.

PLAN- All LHS sophomores are automatically enrolled to take this exam. An informational letter will be sent home toward the end of September

Practice ACT- All LHS juniors are automatically enrolled to take this exam. An informational letter will be sent home toward the end of September.

Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE)- All juniors are automatically enrolled to take this four part exam administered over a two day period. Completion of these exams is an LHS and state graduation requirement.

National ACT- Any LHS student wishing to take an additional ACT test must sign up individually for one of six national testing dates throughout the year. Registration takes place online http://www.actstudent.org/ . Sign-up information can be found in the College Resource Center (CRC).

Practice SAT (PSAT)- Any LHS junior may sign up to participate in the PSAT. Sign-up information can be found in the College Resource Center (CRC) and the Learning Support Teams (LST) in late September and early October.

National SAT- Any LHS student wishing to take the SAT must sign up individually for one of the national testing dates throughout the year. Sign-up information can be found in the College Resource Center (CRC). Students register online (http://sat.collegeboard.com/register).

Advanced Placement Exams (AP)- Registration information is mailed home to all AP students in February.
