ACADEMIC SUPPORTS
Libertyville High School offers students several different resources for assistance in curricular help, make-up testing, and study locations. Please check these areas for specific information on sign-ups, locations, and hours.
The WORKSHOP - RM 149
WHAT: Drop-in support in English, Math, Science, and World Languages
WHEN: Periods 1-8. Math help is also available before school.
HOW: Students can drop in for support during lunch or a free period. No appointment necessary.
The TESTING CENTER - RM 121
WHAT: A quiet space for students to take assessments. This room provides testing for students with and without accommodations.
WHEN: 7:45AM - 4:15PM
HOW: Students can make an appointment in the test center through the Test Center and TAC apps on ClassLink.
VARSITY TUTORING - VIRTUAL
WHAT: Virtual HW assistance in all subject areas
WHEN: 24/7, everyday.
HOW: Students can access the Varsity Tutoring App through ClassLink.
EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING Coach - Rm 149
WHAT: Support for students to develop their executive functioning skills, such as organization, planning, task initiation, and time management.
WHEN: Before school, during a free period, or during lunch.
HOW: Students should discuss a possible connection to this support with their counselor.
