Career and Technical Education

Our program is designed to help all students whether they plan on attending college or plan on full-time employment after high school graduation. It helps students facing a highly technological society achieve a basic understanding of related topics and practice the skills that can be applied to many aspects of daily life including leisure time activities.

Our courses allow students to explore many subject areas so that they can gain the knowledge and experience necessary to make intelligent career decisions. They include a maximum number of laboratory activities that apply the theory learned from various subjects. The activities allow students to use instruments and equipment to produce tangible results that provide personal success and build self-confidence. Students actually see their ideas become reality!

Our DARING Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is designed to prepare all students to be career and college ready. By choosing to take our courses, students explore current career options as well as prepare for future careers fields not yet in existence. Our students are Dreamers and Doers; they explore diverse subjects and gain hands-on experience which requires them to be Inquisitive, creative and “difference makers” with an emphasis on broadening their Global Awareness.  Students develop skills and competencies that allow them to explore their interests and passions for both career and personal pursuits. Each CTE program area focuses on helping students develop the Resilience needed to manage their own health, safety and well-being. Our diverse and relevant courses equip our students to Nimbly grow from Doing to Succeeding.
