The District 128 DARING mission calls on the Community High School District 128 Library Media Centers to support students in their exploration and discovery of personal journeys toward meaningful post-secondary pursuits. Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find the LibGuide for my class research project?

Please check your teacher’s Google Classroom. You are also welcome to email us, and we will send you the link to the LibGuide.  

How do I search for books in the library?

Visit our library catalog and search by title, keyword, or subject.  If you need help finding a book, you are also welcome to visit us in the library or email us. 

How do I access eBooks and audiobooks?

Visit Sora, our digital library, in order to access District 128’s eBook and audiobook collection. You can also download the Sora by OverDrive app on your phone or device. When you use the Sora by OverDrive app, you will have the option to access some of Cook Memorial Library’s eBooks and audiobooks as well. You will sign in with your LHS Google account. If you need help accessing eBooks or audiobooks in Sora, you are welcome to visit us in the library or email us.  

How do I access NoodleTools?

NoodleTools can be accessed by visiting the NoodleTools website and logging in with your LHS Google account. If you need help accessing or using NoodleTools to cite your sources, you are welcome to visit us in the library or email us.
